Skyline Chili is famous for our delicious Cheese Coneys, 3-Ways and our Skyline Time Hospitality.  We take great pride in our unique chili that to this day, is still made with the original secret family recipe passed down through generations of the Lambrinides family. It is craveable and will leave you wanting more. All we know is people love it and we love serving it to our family and friends.

An iconic storied past with an exciting future.

In 1949, on a hilltop overlooking Cincinnati, Ohio, Nicholas Lambrinides a Greek immigrant opened a small restaurant and began serving what would soon become a Cincinnati icon – Skyline Chili.  Since then, it has been enjoyed by generations and has grown to over 140 locations. Today, as in 1949, Skyline Chili is dedicated to bringing friends and families together for an experience like no other.

A simple product…simply made.

Our famous 3, 4, and 5-Way chili dishes, along with our unique Cheese Coneys can be easily assembled.  Our commissary produces the chili and packages it so that it helps our restaurants achieve consistent quality and keeps food preparation simple. From an operator’s standpoint you can imagine the efficiencies this creates in providing fast service to our guests. We continually strive to find ways to keep our restaurant operations streamlined and simple.

Our food is prepared at a steamtable in front of our guests, which gives our team members the opportunity to interact and connect with our guests.  Whether you are being served by one of our servers in the dining room or cruising through the drive-thru for a quick meal you will always be served with a smile!

Becoming a part of the Skyline Family.

When you become a franchisee, you immediately become a member of the Skyline family. We know that starting your own business can be exciting and overwhelming at the same time, and we are here to support you every step of the way.

Every Skyline franchisee will be provided with training and support that will guide you through every aspect of developing and running a restaurant. You can expect that our Skyline Corporate Support Team will be there to assist through the entire process.

We are currently seeking franchisees who meet the following criteria:

General Requirements

• Successful experience in foodservice or hospitality industry.
• Experience leading a team.
• Commitment to being involved in your local community – have connections with schools, businesses and local organizations.
• An enthusiastic approach to being a part of the Skyline culture and franchise community

Financial Requirements

• Net worth: single unit $1-2M, multi-unit $5m+
• Liquid capital: single unit $500,000+, multi-unit $2m+
• Ability to obtain financing

Fee structure

• Initial franchise fee: $20,000 (for a 10-year term)
• Area development fee (per store): $5,000
• Royalty fees: 4% of gross sales
• Advertising fees: 4% of gross sales

Territories available to franchise.

Today there are over 140 Skyline Chili restaurants operating in four states. Opportunities are available for single-unit owner/operators and multi-unit development within selected geographical areas in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Florida and Tennessee. Skyline Chili does not currently franchise outside of the United States or in (or to the residents of) the following states within the United States: California, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Virginia, Washington or Wisconsin.
